The hotel was fairly clean and had gentle staff at the reception desk. We got modern standard room with stunning views as an upgrade, nice gesture. Loved extensive breakfast options with a lovely view and american coffee, as for instance. The property had a very central setting in a basic cafe. The place was a super close walk to Korkovado, where you can have dinner.

Unexpected kindness
The hotel's location provided easy access to the beach and old town, and the complimentary welcome platter added a thoughtful touch to our arrival.
Service at breakfast was lacking. Replenishing food was slow, and we often found ourselves looking for items as they ran low.

The location
The decor makes this a really dark and gloomy hotel, everything is black with really low lighting. We stayed in a villa, which for the money didn't live up to expectations! Not many signs for anything! Surrounding building work was noisy early! The most cold and oppressive luxury!! hotel I have ever stayed in.

Budva was buzzing with vibrant concerts and performances. The beach access was perfect for our family with kiddie, and we enjoyed our spacious room overlooking the city. Contributing a lot to our pleasant memories.

Avala Hotel offers picturesque views on the Budva Bay, spacious rooms in a fashionable minimalistic style, and an exquisite italian cuisine restaurant.
However, it lacks even basic beach facilities. Even though the advertising features a sea water swimming pool, the water is chlorinated. What's more, the staff of the hotel needs intense training, as some of them are quite lazy in performing their tasks.
